When in doubt, pull some tarot

I’m here to tell you, if you're ever unsure, try pulling some tarot cards.

It is currently the first quarter moon phase. I was doing my moon cycle manifestation exercise, where I list things that show development towards the intentions I set during the new moon phase. I separate them into two columns: one for the things I have seen development on, and the other for the things I have yet to see development on. However, I couldn't really concentrate. I have too much going on in my head.

The thing is, I have so many ideas that I want to get out of my head. It's like all sorts of creative inspirations are swirling around in my mind. Maybe it's because Mars is in Cancer, conjunct with the Moon, or maybe it's because of the square between the Moon and the Sun. I wasn't feeling this way until a few days ago, before we came into this planetary alignment.

But I can't help but chuckle at myself because this is exactly what I asked for. I wished to fluently channel the energy of the planets when setting a new moon intention, and here I am, doing just that!

So, I did a tarot reading for myself, but didn't receive any clarity. However, I received the message that I need to elevate my viewpoint to a bird's-eye view.

Later in the day, a friend gave me an energy healing and advised me to slow down, step back, and get grounded. She noted that my head seemed too big and my feet were like baby feet.

Later that evening, I received a tarot reading from a astrology-tarot alchemist in my study group. Her reading revealed that I am currently in a transitional moment (The World on the bottom) and an unsure stage (Five of Cups). To move forward, I need to look at my situation from a different perspective (The Hanged Man), trust in divine timing (The Wheel), and ultimately keep working hard (The Eight of Pentacles).

Still confusing right?

So, today, Moon separated from Mars and coming into sextile with her best friend Venus in Taurus, I'm in much better headspace, pulled some cards again. To honor the Moon-Venus aspect, I used the beautiful "The Muse Tarot" by Chris-Anne. The Hanged Muse card came up, which has the same meaning as "The Hanged Man" card that I received last night.

Now it's clear what I should do. The message was:

Pose and meditate, cultivating insights, find a stillness within me that allows my mind to expand and my thoughts to flow. let go of resistance and embrace the present moment, allowing inspiration to come to me naturally. As I breathe deeply and focus my attention inward, I am able to tap into a deeper level of consciousness and connect with my inner self. This will help me move forward in my transitional stage and find clarity in my unsure moment.

Here is a message from the Muse Tarot guide book:

When you gift yourself the liberty of malleable thinking, you can change your reality with a simple swing on the timeline of life.

So, you see, tarot cards can be a fascinating tool for receiving guidance, gaining insight into our inner selves, especially in times of uncertainty or confusion. They help us connect with our intuition and access deeper levels of consciousness. The next time you feel stuck or unsure, consider pulling some tarot cards to see what the universe has in store for you. And don't forget to wait for the Moon to be in the good alignment!

Here is a Tarot Spread for the First Quarter Moon Phase:

  1. What is working and developing from the New Moon intention.

  2. What has not yet developed and might need a little tweak or adjustment.

  3. What action do I need to take to move forward in my goal?

  4. Advice from the divine.
