Career Focus, Partnerships & Astrological Predictions

My Lunar Return Chart Insights for July

The last reading of my Lunar Return chart was incredibly helpful, so I’m back with a new one! If you missed it, you can catch up here. I focused on the fortune aspect and included the "Fortune Asteroids" in the chart. The asteroid Money was in the 2nd house, Abundantia was in the 6th house, and with the Moon conjunct Mars, my daily work was abundant, making it a financially lucrative month. However, we are working to install a parking pad at the back of our house, so although I made a lot, I spent a lot too. Indeed, lots of money activity!

What is a Lunar Return Chart?

A Lunar Return chart is a horoscope cast for the exact moment the Moon returns to its natal position—the place it occupied at your birth. This celestial event happens about every 28 days, offering insights into the themes and energies of the coming month. While Solar Return charts provide yearly forecasts, Lunar Return charts focus on monthly influences, making them a valuable tool for short-term planning.

When creating a Lunar Return chart, you can use either your birthplace or current location as the reference point. I prefer setting it to my current location, as it's halfway across the world from my birthplace and the Moon signifies my current activities and whereabouts.

By regularly analyzing your Lunar Return charts, you can gain valuable insights into the ebb and flow of your monthly experiences. This knowledge can help you make informed decisions about various aspects of your life, from career moves to relationship dynamics and personal growth opportunities.

July Insights

In the month of July, my monthly time lord was Cancer. The ruler Moon in the Lunar Return chart was residing in the 10th house, which very clearly indicated a strong focus on career-related matters.

Current Lunar Return

Monthly Lord: Leo

Ruler: Sun

Moon Placement: 7th House

The 7th house pertains to relationships, including marriage, life partners, business partners, and one-on-one clients. With the Sun in the 10th house of career and public standing, my focus seems to be on career and business once again, but this time with an added theme of partnership.

Career and Partnerships

The Sun in the 10th house generally indicates success in one's career, especially the Sun home in Leo, where it shines its brightest and strongest. The Moon, exalted in Taurus, signifies successful partnerships in business, fruitful collaborations, acquiring new clients, and continuing to work with existing clients. Both luminaries being in fixed houses suggests a focus on maintaining and building upon current endeavors rather than initiating new projects or changing the existing course of action.

The Last Quarter Moon phase suggests it is a time to carefully evaluate and shed what is not working, and to perfect what is working, to bring about a new paradigm in the upcoming New Moon.

Key Planetary Influences

  • Venus and Vesta in the 10th House: This alignment, along with the Sun, indicates a period of heightened focus and dedication needed to achieve professional milestones. My efforts will be met with harmony and support, paving the way for significant development in my career.

  • Juno in Virgo (11th House): When I hear the word "partnership," I naturally think of Juno, the symbol of sacred partnership and commitment. She is in Virgo, in the 11th house of friends and social groups, alongside Mercury, Part of Fortune, MC, Hekate, and Artemis! This seems very beneficent to me, and I know exactly what they signify.

  • Moon Applying to Saturn in Pisces (5th House): As the Moon aligns with Saturn, it may signify a time to solidify plans and commitments, emphasizing the importance of structure and maturity in handling upcoming tasks and collaborations. This seems to say no playing around, but it’s also a reminder not to forget to have fun in the creation process!

Additional Alignments

  • Scorpio Rising with Pallas on the Ascendant & Mars in the 8th House in Gemini, Conjunct Jupiter: Pallas is a creative warrior, and Scorpio's ruling planet, Mars, is the God of War. Mars is in the 8th house in Gemini, conjunct Jupiter, the King of the Gods, and they once fought for the kingship. This alignment suddenly brings forth a warrior theme, suggesting it's a time of "Do or Die," highlighting the importance of carefully planned strategy, taking decisive action, and harnessing one's inner strength to overcome challenges and achieve significant transformations.

  • Ceres in the 3rd House in Capricorn: The 3rd house is the house of Goddesses in ancient astrology, represents community, communication, and rituals. In career and business astrology, it signifies marketing and daily tasks. Ceres will ensure that my endeavors are nurtured and encourage my voice to reflect my spiritual practice and authenticity in all communications and creations.

Asteroid Goddesses and Their Influence

  • #4 Vesta: Positioned in the 10th house alongside the Sun and Venus, Vesta signifies a period of intense focus and dedication essential for achieving professional milestones. This alignment promises that all efforts will be met with harmony and support, fostering significant career advancements.

  • #3 Juno: Located in Virgo in the 11th house, Juno represents sacred partnership and commitment within social circles and friendships. This placement highlights the importance of collaborations and alliances in achieving mutual goals.

  • #2 Pallas: On the Ascendant in Scorpio, Pallas embodies a creative warrior energy. This placement encourages strategic thinking and creative problem-solving, essential for navigating complex challenges and emerging victorious.

  • #1 Ceres: Situated in the 3rd house in Capricorn, Ceres ensures that all endeavors are nurtured and encourages authentic communication, particularly in career and business matters. This placement fosters a grounded approach to daily tasks and community engagement.

  • #100 Hekate and #105 Artemis: Both located in the 11th house alongside Juno. Hekate brings wisdom and transformative insights, while Artemis adds a fierce independence and protection, enhancing the strength of social bonds and group endeavors.

Overall, this Lunar Return chart forecasts a period focused on career and professional relationships. The planetary alignments and placements suggest significant growth and consolidation in my endeavors. With a strong emphasis on partnerships, commitment, and creative projects, I am poised to make substantial progress.

As I navigate through this month, I will keep these insights in mind and report back at the end of the month!
